Based in Overlea, Maryland, Visuals is a computer graphic design company focused on servicing the micro, small businesses and non-profit industries in Baltimore City, and the counties of Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, and Howard. The company was founded by owner and graphic designer, Catherine Kratovil in November 2003. Visuals provides its clientele a level of intimate customer service that remains above reproach and not available in the larger sized firms.
Visuals goal is to provide a fresh, imaginative and creative form of communication through the use of computer generated graphics and designs. It is the company’s mission to better the world we live in by making a positive difference to all its clients. Visuals has had the immense pleasure of providing computer graphic design services to such non-profit organizations as TurnAround, Inc. and Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, Inc. The company has had the pleasure of witnessing the entrepreneurial spirit of several smaller businesses by offering computer graphic design services to Fresh Boutique, Mid-Atlantic Marketing, Inc., Mondo Vino, Griffith Casting, to name only a few.
Catherine Kratovil, owner and graphic designer, has several years of graphic design experience that began at a desktop publishing level. Her exposure to computer graphic design includes industries such as residential and commercial real estate, industrial manufacturers, weekly newspaper publications, architectural landscaping, non-profit publications and mirco and small business entities throughout Baltimore and the surrounding counties. Her portfolio consists of fliers, postcards, brochures, corporate identity, initial website development as well as many other creative works. An Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Graphic Design and Visual Communications completes her portfolio.
Mrs. Kratovil possesses an entrepreneurial attitude which lends to the successful completion of each assignment Visuals has accepted. She displays a heart-felt passion and need to assist the under served population in the non-profit, micro and small business environments. By supporting these organizations with economical and professional graphic design services, her vision of a better world is made clearer.
Mrs. Kratovil serves on the board of the HARBEL Community Organization. She volunteers as the marketing committee chair for TurnAround, Inc.'s Steppin' Out event and with the Preston Mitchum, Jr Foundation. Mrs. Kratovil represents Visuals through membership with the Overlea Fullerton Business and Professional Association where she volunteers design services. As an advocate for her community, she is a life time member of the East Rosemont Community Association and an avid supporter of those organizations striving to improve the quality of life for every person, every where!
